Planting Purpose,
Harvesting Hope.

Our story.

Good Seeds Flower Farm exists because of our daughter, Hazel.

From the moment we saw Hazel’s photo, our understanding of the world began to shift. Hazel lives with Down syndrome and autism, and life with her is full of deep love and joy, alongside real and ongoing challenges. Walking this road has shown us how often spaces aren’t built with people like her in mind, and how difficult true inclusion can be to find, support, and sustain.

As we navigate what inclusion looks like for a child today, we’re also thinking ahead, wondering what opportunities will exist for her as she grows. Those questions planted the earliest seeds of Good Seeds Flower Farm, with a focus on planting purpose today and harvesting hope for the future.

Today, the farm is a place where people of all abilities can contribute in meaningful ways and be valued for who they are. It’s also a place Hazel loves, spending time outdoors, helping in small ways, wrangling farm cats, and learning through the everyday rhythms of farm life.

Team members living with disabilities play an active, essential role in daily life on the farm, from planting and harvesting blooms to arranging flowers, organizing events, and caring for our shared spaces. Inclusion here isn’t a special program or an added effort, it’s woven into how we operate and who we are. Together, we cultivate more than flowers; we cultivate purpose, dignity, and hope for what’s possible when everyone is given the opportunity to thrive.
